A new YA novel by D.F. Marsh
My motivation with the novelI wanted to write a YA fantasy novel that adults would enjoy. I didn't want it to fall into the fold of total fantasy; I wanted it to be contemporary, plausible, contentious, and yet fantastic. I wanted it to have an epic feel. I wanted my characters to be so special that they would never be forgotten. And so I began the arduous journey into that other world we call imagination.
